In September 2015, La Sirena was featured at the first annual KAABOO Music Festival in Del Mar, CA. This 4 day extravaganza featured music, art, food & wine, beer & spirits, comedy, and much more! We had a blast providing our Moscato Azul, Grenache, and Pirate TreasuRed to festival-goers looking for a delicious glass of wine out there in the heat.
Crush 2015 started early (August 18 for us) due to earlier bud break in the spring, but went longer than normal wrapping it up at the end of October as usual. Longest crush ever! Lower rainfall of the last couple of years contributed to lower than normal grape yields. The fermenting juice is tasting amazing and will surely produce some beautiful wines this vintage. We’re hoping for a nice rainy winter this year!
