The only white wine from La Sirena, this Moscato is an unusual, delicious dry (not sweet) expression of Muscat Canelli. In its signature blue bottle, Moscato Azul has become a fan favorite for its drinkability, perfumey aroma, crisp acidity, and ability to pair well with many different dishes. It’s especially perfect during the spring and summer time on warm days.

Always wanting to experiment and try something new going forward, Heidi thought it would be fun to make a dry-style Muscat. Challenged by the idea that there were dry Rieslings and dry Gewurztraminers in the US, but no dry Muscat, she wondered “Why doesn’t anyone make this?”, and “Why couldn’t you?”, and finally decided, “I’m going to try it!”. The result of this experiment was her Moscato Azul, a beautiful, unique expression of Muscat Canelli that encompasses all the perfumed, floral qualities of the grape, without the sugar of a traditional Muscat/Moscato. La Sirena introduced Moscato Azul to the market in 2003, and continue to produce this beautiful white wine in its signature cobalt blue bottle.
